We are pleased to announce that the Trusts, Wealth Management and Philanthropy Conference 2025 will be held at The University of Hong Kong on 3-4 July 2025. The event is also part of the celebration of the 55th anniversary of the HKU Faculty of Law. 

 

The Conference marks the 10th anniversary of the Trusts, Wealth Management and Philanthropy Conference Series. It will focus on Trust and Innovative Philanthropy, exploring key themes such as:

1.Innovations and Developments in Chinese Charity Law

2.New Perspectives in Philanthropy - novel research and practices in the philanthropic sector which provide impactful perspectives on philanthropic models, strategies and policies.

3.Responsible investing - the development, trends and challenges of responsible investment practices including ethical investing and impact investing.

To present at the Conference, please submit a working title and an abstract (of no more than 150 words) by 15 October 2024 to Trust2025@hku.hk.  A selection of the papers will be published as a symposium in the Hong Kong Law Journal. There are no speaker registration fees for those whose papers are accepted by this conference. Speakers and attendees are expected to meet their own travel costs and accommodation.
